Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar storage used on veturo.io and on the Veturo platform. The short version: a functional cookie that remembers your language, a cookie that records your choice below, and Google Analytics, which loads only if you accept it. No advertising cookies, ever.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so it can remember something about your visit: a setting, a session, or an identifier. The same rules apply to other browser storage, such as sessionStorage, which is why it is listed here too.

2. Cookies on this website

veturo-locale: remembers the language you chose, for up to 12 months. It stores a preference, not an identity, and is strictly functional.

veturo-consent: records whether you accepted analytics, for up to 6 months. Without it we would have to ask on every page.

_ga and _ga_<id>: Google Analytics, up to 24 months. Set only after you accept. They tell us which pages get read and where visitors give up. IP addresses are truncated and we do not use Google Signals, advertising features or cross-device tracking.

veturo-utm…: six sessionStorage keys holding the campaign parameters of the link you arrived through, so a quote request can be attributed to its source. They are cleared when you close the tab and never leave your browser except with a request you submit yourself.

3. Cookies on the platform

The Veturo platform and app set only the cookies strictly necessary for signing in and keeping your session secure. They exist so the platform works; they are not used for tracking across other sites.

4. What we do not set

No advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, no profiling and no selling of data. Analytics is loaded only with your consent, and until you give it Google Analytics stores nothing on your device, and that is enforced by Google Consent Mode, not just by our word.

5. Managing cookies

You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or delete and block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the language cookie, the site simply asks your browser for its preferred language again on your next visit.
