Both prices and the four questions, in one email.
The published numbers, the pilot terms and the four questions to put to any provider before you sign.
There are two costs: the device with its installation, paid once, and the subscription per vehicle, paid monthly. Both of our numbers are public: €7 per vehicle per month and €50–120 for the device with basic installation. The harder part is comparing offers, because most providers in Serbia and Slovenia publish no price at all, and part of the cost only becomes visible in the terms and conditions.
Published prices · no sales call needed to compare
The device and its installation are a one-time cost. The platform subscription is monthly and charged per vehicle. Those are two different items and an offer should show them separately.
Some providers merge them into a single monthly instalment in which the device is rented. The figure looks lower and there is nothing to pay up front, but the device never becomes yours, and the instalment does not drop once the hardware has long since paid for itself. If you choose that model, ask what happens to the device at the end of the contract.
The sensible minimum: SIM card and mobile data, device updates, platform access for several users, the mobile app, stored history and support. With us all of that is in the subscription, and history runs six months on Basic and twelve months on Pro / Fleet.
If any of it is billed separately, most often the SIM and the data, that is not a detail, it changes the whole comparison. Ask for it in writing in the offer rather than as a remark in a meeting.
What the subscription covers with us. Ask any provider for the same list in writing.
The price per vehicle is one number in a contract. What you actually pay over three years is often decided by the terms and conditions: contract length, automatic renewal, removal fees and the rules about who may touch the equipment.
These are not invented risks. The published terms of one of the larger providers in the region state that the contract renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled a month before it expires, that terminating before the twenty-fourth month carries a per-vehicle removal fee, and that only an authorised installer may fit the equipment, and otherwise the customer has to buy it outright. All of it is properly written and lawful, and none of it is visible in the price per vehicle.
So ask for the terms and conditions before you sign, not just the offer. If you cannot get them up front, that is already an answer.
The usual explanation is that the price depends on the vehicle and the configuration. For reading data off the vehicle itself that is true: what can be read really does differ from model to model, which is why we quote that part individually too.
For basic position tracking the argument does not hold. The device, the SIM, the platform and the support cost the same whether the vehicle is a van or a passenger car. That price can be published, and we publish it.
For a fleet of five vehicles on Basic that is five times €7 a month, plus €50–120 per vehicle once for the device and basic installation. The minimum monthly invoice per company is €25, so very small fleets pay that floor rather than the per-vehicle sum.
The exact figure for your fleet is confirmed in the offer, because vehicle type and installation conditions move the one-time part. The monthly part is fixed and published.
Computed from the published price list. The one-time part is confirmed in the offer, once the models are known.
The published numbers, the pilot terms and the four questions to put to any provider before you sign.

If it is rented, the monthly instalment never ends and the equipment goes back at the end. If it is bought, it is yours once paid for, and that should be written in the offer, not assumed.
Ask about the term, the notice period, automatic renewal and any removal fee. With us those conditions are set out in the offer, and the pilot obliges you to nothing.
The device has to send its data somewhere. If the SIM is not in the price, it is a separate monthly cost per vehicle and one that is easy to miss when comparing.
Billing should follow the number of vehicles being tracked. Ask what is charged when a vehicle leaves the fleet: removal, moving the device to another vehicle, or nothing.
In the short term renting is cheaper, because nothing is paid up front. Over three years buying is usually the better deal, and the device stays yours. With us the device is bought: €50–120 once, together with basic installation.
Because part of the cost does not depend on the number of vehicles: the SIM, the platform, support and administration exist even for one vehicle. The minimum per company is €25 and it applies only when the per-vehicle sum comes to less than that.
The monthly subscription does not. The one-time part does, because fitting a van, a truck and a construction machine is not the same job, which is why it is given as a range, €50–120.
Yes. The pilot is free for 30 days on 2 vehicles, for qualified fleets of at least 5 vehicles, with no subscription and no device cost during the pilot. It never turns into a contract by itself: when it ends, you decide.
In the pilot we fit two devices and follow real use for 30 days. After that you have both numbers about your fleet and a concrete offer, with no obligation to continue.
A concrete next step, not a callback request.
A data-processing agreement and an employee notification template (GDPR / ZZPL) come with onboarding.
A request is not an order. You decide after you see the offer.
